Molly Tarlov is an American actor best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama television series Awkward from 2011. Tarlov is the eldest daughter of two and was raised in Manhattan. When she was 10, Tarlov began her career as an actor in the show Bye Bye Birdie, at Little Red School House. The group of 7th graders who attended the show were very impressed. Later in her career she attended NYU Tisch in Paris as well as the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She studied a variety different styles of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company, which she attended as well, taught her how to integrate acting and writing in classes like the LAByrinth Theater's Master class. Molly gave away her winter coat and purchased a pair of black sunglasses on her trip in Los Angeles. The three words in iCarly immediately caught the attention of her parents. Since then, she's appeared in a number of TV shows and played Caitlin as the lead protagonist in Winnie as well as Savannah Dooley's ABC Family series Huge. Molly is a suave and flimsy pretender she's a pro at basketball, even though it's not true. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
