Jennifer Garner is a West Virginia native born in Houston on the 17th April in 1972. William John Garner is her father. He was one of the chemical engineer for Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner taught in a college near her. The father of her was an engineer in the chemical industry so she wanted to be as skilled as him. In order to pursue her dream of acting the actress decided to move to New York and try her hand in acting in Hollywood. While she was appearing in Broadway productions, she served as a server in the nearby restaurant. Garner was a small part in the film "Felicity" (where the show was where she also met Scott Foley). Garner had her first big role on the screen in "13 Goin' on 30", a romantic comedy widely praised. Garner played a teenage girl trapped inside the adult body. Garner chose Gary Winick for the role as director. The two continued working with each other on various projects until Winick died in 2011. Role includes national literacy promotion and nutrition, as well as early education, and many various other aspects.
