Ashley Darby
Ashley Darby (born April 14, 1980) is an American actress and singer. She gained fame when she her title of Miss District of Columbia, in 2011. From the beginning the first season of The Real Housewives of Potomac in January of 2016 the actress has had a major role in this show. Ashley Darby is an entrepreneur with a love of the cause of hospitality as well as the holistic approach to health. Ashley came from Maryland with a bubbly personality. It has led to a tenacity that is unmatched. Ashley was the eldest of her family, and was able to hold multiple jobs as a child. She was able to support her mother as she is single and her two younger siblings. At the age of the age of 18, Ashley enrolled at University of Maryland while bartending on the side. It helped her ensure financial stability for her family and herself. Ashley got spotted by Miss District of Columbia Pageant as she bartended and was awarded her crown in the year 2011. Ashley was then introduced to Michael Darby who was a millionaire Australian who worked in the real-estate business. Michael, who is 29, was older than Ashley. It was a flurry of excitement and Ashley was welcomed into a world she had never imagined existed. Ashley and Michael were married in the year 2019 and are proud grandparents Dean Michael, Dylan Matthew and Dylan Matthew. After eight years of being together, they separated officially in 2022. Ashley is a qualified yoga instructor, believes the balance is based on inner peace and physicality. Even though she's having the most enjoyable time of her life, Ashley is working to figure out how to balance love family business and motherhood. Ashley, as far as her profession is concerned she's a television presenter. Her first job was as a waitress, which helped keep her family afloat. Her entire life she has had a passion for fashion and entertainment. She participated in a pageant with full determination. Similar to 2011 she was named Miss District of Columbia and was awarded the title. The following years she was a part of Miss America and even though she was not crowned Miss America she won a $500,000 prize. The scholarship awarded her $5000 money and was also awarded the John Curran Award of Non-Finalist Interview.
